Upon entry through a private gate, you are greeted by a Zen-like garden with manicured oaks, thoughtful landscaping, outdoor dining for six and a comfortable seating area encircling a large gas fire pit. Through the front door one encounters both comfort and aesthetically pleasing spaces – the living and dining areas enjoy open beam ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing an abundance of natural light and tree lined vistas of your private garden. The living room is the ideal spot to unplug or cozy up with a movie on the large sectional couch in front of the fireplace, and the dining area includes seating for six (and up to ten with table leaves and additional chairs). The living/dining are combined together in one space – all stylishly decorated with top quality Mid-Century Modern furnishings. Offering a chef’s kitchen equipped with a double oven, gas range, dishwasher, disposal, and wine cooler, enjoy a casual dining area with seating for four at the breakfast table. Your kitchen leads to a butler’s pantry/laundry area with a stackable washer/dryer and powder room with easy access to the spacious two car garage and an additional refrigerator for overflow groceries and beverages. Back to the living space, meander down the hallway to find both guest bedrooms (queen, queen) which share a bath with heated slate tile floors, and a shower over tub. The primary bedroom (king) has ample closet space with built-in drawers, a large flat screen television, and an en-suite bathroom also with heated slate tile floors and a walk-in shower over sunken tub. All bedrooms have hardwood flooring throughout and include comfortable, minimalist furnishings and accessories. “Second Sun” is well positioned in a location central to the Lodge at Pebble Beach, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Monterey, and Pacific Grove. Offering comfortable and aesthetically pleasing spaces throughout, this 3 bedroom/2 ½ bathroom residence provides a stunning backdrop to wind down and enjoy the best of our area. Double car parking in carport, plus two car garage and plenty of driveway space for cars. Wi Fi. NO SMOKING.
