“The Vestry” -- This light and airy, two-bedroom (plus bonus room), two-bathroom Craftsman style home sits in an ideal location for “all things Carmel”. Walk up one small set of stairs to the front porch and main entrance. Enter into a lovely, spacious living room with comfortable seating, mission-style furniture, beautiful hardwood floors, built-in shelving with TV, sky lights, and gas log fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen with pass-through counter, tile counter tops, electric range, dish washer, standard refrigerator, microwave, garbage disposal, and vinyl flooring. Stackable washer/dryer sits in a closet on the north side of the kitchen. From there, walk out the door to the back patio and beautifully landscaped yard or to the dining area with seating for 6. Small hallway off the dining area leads to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Primary bedroom has a Queen-size bed, TV, corner writing desk, walk-in closet, sky lights, recessed lighting, and en-suite bathroom. There is also a set of French doors that lead out to the back deck and patio. Master bathroom has a granite counter top, double sinks and walk-in granite tiled shower. Guest bedroom has a Queen-size bed, armoire, recessed lighting, and sky lights. Guest bathroom off the hallway has a white, single pedestal sink and large stall shower. Neither bathroom has a tub. Bonus room across from the primary and guest bedrooms has one twin bed which is ideal for an overnight visitor, yet not recommended for long term use as a bedroom. Back yard is fully fenced and private with a table with seating for 4. Come enjoy a magnificent taste of what feels like the Pacific Northwest in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Filled with picture windows and tasteful art & furnishings, surrounded by oak and redwood trees, and located a stone’s throw from the Sunset Center - the Central Coast's premier performing arts center, this home will not disappoint! Parking for two cars in the private driveway. Wi-Fi. Approximately 1,100 sq. feet. Pet considered. NO SMOKING. 30 NIGHT MINIMUM.

My main activity was attending 24 concerts at The Carmel Bach Festival. Restaurants I enjoyed are: Carmel Belle, Anton and Michel, Grasings, Little Swiss Cafe, Cafe Rio, Tarpy's,Pangea...

    This cozy home was perfect. Ideal location - only a few blocks from Ocean Ave as well as the beach. The house was charming and comfortable. We loved the fenced-in front and backyard. Can't wait to visit again.
