"Casa Blanca" - Located across the street from La Playa Hotel , two blocks to Ocean Avenue and the Pacific Repertory Theater, and three blocks to Carmel Beach, this 3 bedroom (King, Queen, Trundle), 3 bath single level home is in the perfect location to enjoy “all things Carmel”. Recently remodeled on arguably one of the best corners in the Golden Rectangle, this home boasts filtered ocean views, a large wind-protected backyard patio, and single car garage. From 8th Avenue, walk up one flight of stairs to the front entrance. Enter into the main hallway that leads to the guest bedroom, kitchen, and dining area to the left. Guest bedroom has a trundle bed (can be converted into a King), en-suite bathroom with pedestal sink, stall shower and tile floor, and a Dutch door with window leading out to the brick patio and garage. Kitchen has white cabinets, quartz countertops, glass subway tile, electric range, double door refrigerator with bottom drawer freezer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and microwave. Dining area has a glass-top table with seating for 6, a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee while enjoying a peek of the ocean, and double French doors that lead out to the sunny brick patio. To the right of the front door, enter into the living room with large picture windows, built-in shelves and cabinets, two comfortable sofas, beautiful stone fireplace (decorative only!), TV, carpet flooring, double French doors leading out to an exterior balcony, and double French doors leading out to the brick patio. Adjacent to the living room is a master bedroom and hallway that leads to the second guest bedroom and bathroom. As with the rest of the house, the primary bedroom has an abundance of natural light. Complete with a King bed, fireplace (decorative only!), chaise lounge, writer’s desk, and en-suite bathroom with granite countertops (soaking tub/shower and single vanity) and heated tile floor, this spacious primary is functional during the day, yet very cozy and romantic during the evening. Second guest bedroom has a Queen bed, double Dutch door with window leading out to the brick patio, and wicker furniture. Guest bathroom is located off the hallway between the master and guest bedrooms and is complete with granite countertops, stall shower, single vanity, and heated tile floor. Stackable washer/dryer is located in the hallway closet. Built in a U-shape around a charming outdoor space, this home lends itself to indoor/outdoor entertaining. Come enjoy this very special location! Gas BBQ, plus charcoal Weber grill. Parking in single car garage with remote and driveway. Ample street parking as well. Wi-Fi and premium cable.     We stayed at Casa Blanca September 2023.
    The house has a good location, two block to Ocean Ave and three blocks to the beach with a view of Carmel Bay from the front balcony and the dinning room table. The house was clean and well laid out. It was also a plus to have a short driveway in which to park our car. We definitely enjoyed our stay there and would get the house again if we can. The people at San Carlos Agency are very helpful and friendly. We've been working with them for a long time - let's just say decades rather than just years - and keep coming back to them when we go to Carmel.

    We spent two weeks in Casa Blanca - a group of 5 adults. The layout worked well and we were close to the beach and town, but not too close to be bothered by the Car Week crowds.The proximity to La Playa Hotel was a real plus.

    Pills house couldn’t be in a better location. House is great. San Carlos agency people are the best. Two separate minor problems were handled immediately. We look forward to next July. I’ve recommended the house to a Dallas friend who wants to come next August.

    The location is great with easy access to all the shops and restaurants in Carmel as well as easy access to the beautiful beach. The construction going on at the hotel across the street was a bit of pain due to many trucks parked outside and some noise during the day. I also think the bedroom carpet needs cleaning. And I think the house would be very much enhanced with the fireplaces working. The house is very well stocked with towels and linens and the kitchen is well equipped. I am giving the cleanliness rating only a 4 because I thought the floors could be better cleaned and the master carpeting issue noted above. There is also a large gap under the front door that allows cold air and sometimes leaves to be blown in. We very much appreciated the willingness of the owner to allow us to substitute this house for the damaged one we originally rented.

    Best location. Two blocks from Ocean Drive in downtown and three blocks from the ocean. Staff at San Carlos Realty are first class in all areas.
    Casablanca is a wonderful house and the courtyard area is awesome. We have already committed to return next July.

    What a lovely month we had in this home! We've rented a number of vacation homes over the years and by far, this one is our favorite. The location was perfect in getting to the beach and village each day. Tastefully updated. Light, bright and elegant. Plenty of bedding and blankets, so we lacked for nothing.
