"Casanova by the C" is a wonderfully charming 2 bedroom (queen/queen), 2 ½ bath Carmel-by-the-Sea home in an ideal location!  Plenty of outdoor living space, with both a patio and deck.  This home is beautifully decorated with French antiques and hardwood floors throughout.  Living room equipped with TV, DVR, DVD player and gas-log Carmel stone fireplace.  French doors lead out to patio.  Kitchen has a gas range, microwave, dishwasher, and disposal.  Dining room has a round glass table with seating for 4.  Primary bedroom (queen) has a gas-log fireplace; bathroom has a tub/shower.  Guest bedroom also has a queen bed; hall bathroom with a tub/shower.  Third room is used an office--equipped with high speed internet and a fax machine.  Half bathroom also has the washer/dryer.  Detached Garden Room get away has a gas log fireplace and two reading chairs!  Street parking only.  NO PETS.  NO SMOKING.  30 NIGHT MINIMUM.  PROPERTY CODE:  SCA51

  This cottage is fabulous. The decor is perfect for Carmel! Super location !I only have 2 complaints. The furniture needs updating. The slip covers ...slip off. The owners need to purchase a smart TV. They aren’t that expensive and woukd be a very nice addition. This cottage is a FABuloys Rental. Even if changes weren’t made, I would rent again!

  We enjoyed our six week stay and hope to return next year. Great location, excellent indoor-outdoor access, good light, sunny ambience. King-size beds with better mattresses would be a welcome improvement and the deck (and deck furniture) need repair. Better instructions for use of gas fireplaces would help, too. Those suggestions aside, it’s a great place!

  Very charming, well lit with natural light and pleasant stay. It is close to the beach and town. I love that Carmel has plenty of parklets for outdoor dining and the Farmers Market in town was a joy.

  This charming home was all we could have hoped for. The homes' location is perfect for a quick walk to the beach or town. Immaculately clean and very well appointed with lovely linens and towels, all in ample supply. The kitchen was compact and had a very complete supply of cooking utensils and appliances. The pictures of this home were entirely accurate. It is the quintessential Carmel cottage.

  We spent a month in June 2020 at this property during the COVID-19 was a last minute booking as we weren’t sure what to expect, but we took a chance and we are glad we did. The house was in a great location within easy walking to the town and beach. Some shops were opening up and most restaurants did take-out or set up tables outside for eating. We love to hike and the first two weeks the State parks were closed, but we walked around Scenic Drive and went into Pacific Grove and walked around the coast to Monterey. After two weeks the Parks had opened up so we went on many hikes. The positives: the house was cozy, with lots of windows and very clean. The negatives, the lighting was very dim as they were mostly antique chandeliers fitted with small warm yellow bulbs. At night we had problems with seeing in kitchen and master bathroom. The house is charming but does need some updating. HOWEVER,
  we will come again and definitely recommend the house.

  Spent a wonderful winter in this delightful Carmel cottage. The proximity to both the beach and Ocean Ave. was great, but also the serenity of the immediate neighborhood. The cottage was appointed with everything we needed.
