“El Jardin Viejo” - Charming 3 bedroom (king/king/queen), 3 bathroom Carmel Point home located near the beach!  Large, redwood paneled living room/dining area with hardwood floors, area rugs, pitched roof, lots of windows,  gas log fireplace, comfortable couch, and piano.  Large wood dining table.  Modern kitchen with dishwasher, disposal, microwave and small table looking out to beautiful front gardens.   Interior patio with propane bar-b-que.  King bedroom and bathroom with tub/shower accessed through hallway.  Hall bathroom with shower stall.  Large king bedroom with TV, stereo.  (Can access other king bedroom and bathroom from this room).  Stacked washer/dryer in hall closet.  UPSTAIRS:  Carpeted landing area equipped with couch, plasma TV, DVD, small table with 3 chairs.  Door leading out to large wooden deck with some bay views.  Bedroom has a queen bed, nice view of mountains; bath has a shower stall.   We loved our stay at El Jardin Viejo. The home is charming, comfortable, and spacious. The location is ideal, walkable to both Carmel Beach and Carmel River Beach, and town. Some of the rooms offer lovely views of the mountains and ocean, including Monastery Beach. It was a pleasure to relax on the deck or by the fireplace. All of our needs were met in this thoughtfully equipped home, from technology, to linens, to kitchen items, to games and books. We especially appreciated feeling the ocean breezes and hearing the sound of the waves. This home is an art and light-filled slice of classic Carmel. We would love to return for another stay at El Jardin Viejo.

  We have stayed here several times and it is truly a lovely, lovely home in the best location. Very short walk to beach, and just slightly over 1/2 mile to walk to town for morning coffee. Afternoons on the deck with the sound of the ocean in view of stunning sunsets... what could be better?

  We had a wonderful stay at El Jardin Viejo! We were looking for accommodations to celebrate a 60th birthday with 3 adult children. This home had charm and was large enough for everyone to have their own room with lots of hang out space. The location can’t be beat!!! Walking distance to Carmel and steep beach, town and Mission Ranch! We had a fantastic week and would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!
