Beautifully remodeled 3 bedroom (king, queen, twins), 3 bath home located in Carmel Point.  Only 2 blocks from the beach, this charming Carmel home has hardwood floors throughout (except primary bedroom).  Living room has gas log fireplace, TV, and Blue-Ray DVD.  Dining area off living room seats 4.  Gourmet kitchen has stone counters, gas stovetop, microwave, and dishwasher.  Down a couple of steps from the kitchen is a family room (TV & couch) with sliding doors that open onto a spacious back deck with propane BBQ and some ocean views. Two guest bedrooms downstairs (queen & twins) each with own bathroom (both shower stalls).  Stacked Bosch washer/dryer in hall closet.  UPSTAIRS:  Large owner's suite (king) with large bay window, nice ocean views, sitting area, and gas log fireplace.  Bathroom has double sinks and large shower stall.  Nice rear patio.  Fenced yard. Single garage.  Wi-Fi. NO SMOKING.  PROPERTY CODE: JACOD

  This is my second time at this property. I love being so close to the ocean, and the master bedroom is spectacular with a fabulous ocean view. The entire home has beautiful venetian plaster walls, and an excellent kitchen that is well stocked along with high-end appliances.   This house is charming from it’s beautiful venetian plaster walls to the well stocked marbled countertop kitchen.   We are so happy to have discovered this charming cottage, La Maubèche, for our month in Carmel, and we will be returning to it again in 2023. The cottage is so conveniently located, one block from Scenic Drive, a 15-minute walk to Carmel River Beach, and a 20-minute walk to the center of Carmel. The owners of La Maubèche have created a very cozy environment for enjoying the many moods of Carmel. There are 2 lovely gas fireplaces (we used at least one every day) and comfortable furniture arranged to provide a sense of sanctuary at any time of day. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the gas grill outside adds versatility to meal planning. The primary bedroom suite is beautifully appointed with double sinks and double closet/drawer spaces, a lovely gas fireplace, and a magnificent bay window with window seat, overlooking Carmel Bay. And the king bed is very comfortable. High end linens for the bed and bath add to the comfort and coziness of the cottage experience. Two of our daughters visited us and were very comfortable in the guest bedrooms, one twin and one with a queen bed, and two additional full baths. La Maubèche was very clean and provided good cleaning supplies for our month-long visit. The San Carlos Agency does a great job of managing this property, and we enjoy working with them.

  Our family had an amazing time staying in this home. The location can't be beat - it's literally a 3 minute walk to the beach, and the master suite has lovely views of the ocean. The house is extremely well appointed and the kitchen well stocked. It was perfect for our family reunion after being separated by COVID for over a year, especially given the spacious deck, which enabled us to visit socially distanced for the first few days.
