Listen to the waves while checking emails from the den which has more ocean views plus TV, DVD, stereo and hide-a-bed couch. The light-filled kitchen has been beautifully updated with Corian counter tops and high end appliances. Dining area connects to a sun / family room with wood-burning fireplace and looks out to a sunny, protected patio/garden with beautiful landscaping, lawn and gazebo.   The house is perfect for two couples and in our case family with a Grandson. There are two separate bedroom suites and the house opens on to a lovely private patio and garden in the back and has a a wonderful deck overlooking the ocean with Carmel Beach and Pebble Beach is the distance. It is a beautiful house filled with beautiful things and art everywhere. Fantastic kitchen.

  We so enjoy staying here. The house is a good size for the two of us. It has fantastic views of the ocean, Pebble Beach and Carmel Beach. We have been staying here off and on for about 20 years. The house is always clean and we really appreciate the updated kitchen and bathroom.

  I think this house has the best ocean view of any house in Carmel. We are repeat renters and will continue . The house has been updated, but could use some new furniture(upholstered and wooden). Otherwise if was clean and well cared for. The ability to walk out your door and walk on Scenic - sublime!

  Beautiful home on the ocean. All the windows need work opening and closing. Bathroom window is stuck permanently open. But we had a terrific stay. Backyard is amazing!

As always, the San Carlos staff are attentive and helpful... even though some of the long-time staff have left, the new staff “know” us and continue the tradition of excellent service.
