“Collins” - Enjoy ocean views from this 2 bedroom (king, queen), 2 bath Carmel home located near the Pebble Beach entrance in a quiet section of Carmel.  House is just a short walk to town and a couple of blocks from the beach!  Up the steps from the driveway, take a few minutes on the front deck to soak in the ocean view.  Then, enter a large living room / dining room with hardwood floors. Dining table has space for 6, and living room is spacious with wood burning fireplace, TV, stereo, plenty of seating, views out to the deck and ocean, as well as a large slider looking out to a protected patio area.  Kitchen is off the dining area with smooth electric glass cook top, wall oven, dishwasher and plenty of work space.  Both bedrooms (also with hardwood floors) and bathrooms are off the hallway from the living room. The bathroom next to the king bedroom has a tub/shower combination, and the bathroom next to the queen bedroom is a shower stall only. Upstairs from the living room is a bonus den / reading room with lots of windows to enjoy that ocean view.  Relax with a vintage book from the owner’s extensive collection.  Parking in driveway for 2 cars.  NO GARAGE ACCESS. Washer/dryer.  Wi-Fi.  NO PETS.  NO SMOKING.  PROPERTY CODE:  COLLM

  As someone who has rented many houses for weeks and months... This may be my all-time favorite. While the initial impression may be it’s a little bit dated once you actually are inside living in the house it’s just simply a joyous place to be. You spend all day just looking out at a gorgeous view of the ocean, there were incredible sunsets maybe five times a week where the colors change every five minutes, very very private... A little secret corner of carmel very few cars on the street although neighbors walking their dogs... A pedestrian path halfway down the road that drops you down two blocks to the beach and again a private access sort of secret trail there... Inside the house the kitchen is super well stocked even down to having three sizes of forks and spoons ha ha!
  An electric stove but a very High end one...Along with just sitting on the deck eating dinner looking at the ocean, the little top room which I used as an office was simply spectacular to be staring out from high above at the views
  The master bedroom again very private and while the bathrooms seem a little dated they are actually charming and functional
  Also very enjoyable during the rainy days where the sound on the roof with peaceful.
  San Carlos agency people were excellent, just a great stay around all round
