“Casey’s Cottage” - Definite Carmel-by-the-Sea Charmer! This 1 bedroom (king), 1 bath, updated “board and batten” cottage is located just two blocks from downtown. Upon entry, you'll be greeted by wide-plank hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and a beautiful Carmel stone fireplace (wood burning with gas jet). The rest of the living room has a sofa, loveseat, and media center. Whip up a delicious dinner in the cook's kitchen with granite counters, Wolf gas range, Subzero refrigerator, dishwasher, and disposal. Light and bright, the eating area had a table with seating for 4 plus French doors out to a small deck. Stacked washer/dryer.  The bedroom has a king bed and TV, and the en suite bathroom has a shower stall. French doors lead out to a charming stone patio. One off-street parking space.  Wi-Fi.  NO PETS.  NO SMOKING.  30 NIGHT MINIMUM.  PROPERTY CODE: BRI-6

The decor is superb and the ambiance is enhanced by vaulted ceilings, granite countertops, beautiful hardwood floors, fabulous Carmel stone fireplace and the crowning touch of Ralph Lauren linens! We loved it. Another plus was having our wine and cheese on the porch (table and chairs not shown in picture).   This cottage was well appointed and in an excellent location to walk to town for dining or shopping. The Post Office, library, and a small deli were just a short walk away. Walking down to the beach was also just about 10 minutes away. Enjoyed it!

  This is just an amazing place to spend some time. While small the quality of the interior is lovely -- hardwood floors throughout, high end kitchen and bathroom, enough furnishings to be comfortable yet still feeling spacious within rooms...
  The high ceilings and calming colored paint...
  What I truly adored was the privacy. You can have the blinds up throughout the house practically and not see or hear anyone, and you are set back from the street to not even notice (literally) any traffic going by.
  Just great. The neighborhood is also the best part of Carmel. You can drive in off Carpenter and not deal with the traffic that hits beyond that on 1, and can walk to the beach in five minutes without touching the Ocean Ave zone chaos, yet it's there if you want to walk to the post office or say Brophy's...

  Casey's cottage was lovely, located in town just a few blocks from Ocean Avenue. The cottage was newly built and well designed with high ceilings, a fireplace, high end furniture and fixtures, appliances, kitchen ware, linens and beautiful artwork. The king bed was very comfortable and the living area was cozy and quaint. We enjoyed being so close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Although small, the cottage was perfect for two people. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
