"Hundred Acre Wood" - Spend your days in this gorgeous two-story Carmel-by-the-Sea cottage near downtown. This three bedroom (king, queen murphy, bunk--twin over full), 2 ½ bath home is full of French Country charm, accompanied by a fantastic light and a spacious feeling that is unusual in many Carmel homes.  Enter the home into a spacious living room with hardwood floors, pitched ceiling, board and bat walls, and Carmel stone wood burning fireplace.  Adjacent to the living room is a dining area with seating for six and a beautifully updated kitchen equipped with a Viking Gas Range, dishwasher, disposal, and microwave.  Cook to your heart’s content, and then enjoy your meal in the little breakfast area off the kitchen.  Nestled up along a wall of windows, it is a perfect, sunny spot to start the day!  In addition to the open living and dining areas, the downstairs level includes a bedroom/family room with a custom-made Queen size Murphy bed.  This downstairs room also has its own private bathroom (shower stall plus separate bathtub), sofa, television, reading area, and a wood-burning fireplace with a gas starter. There is an additional ½ bath off the dining room.  Upstairs from the dining room, this home has a large owner's bedroom with a king bed, television, en suite bathroom (double sinks, shower stall), and a small balcony overlooking the Carmel tree tops.  A second, spacious upstairs bedroom has a twin bunk bed over a full bed.  The house has a single garage with indoor access and a driveway that is available for one additional car.  The backyard is fenced for privacy and has a spacious wrap-around deck with a dining table (seats four) and barbeque/grill.  Washer/Dryer are located in the garage.  Wireless high-speed internet throughout the house.  Pet considered. NO SMOKING.  30-NIGHT MINIMUM.  PROPERTY CODE:  100AW

  We spent 6 weeks in 100 acres house, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were only a block away from all that is going on downtown Carmel. Everything was within walking distance, restaurants and shop and we could walk down to the beach and back.
  The house was so cozy with a beautiful large kitchen that had anything you needed for cooking. The master bedroom has a four posted king size bed that is so comfortable. We can’t wait to go back again next year

  we were very happy with the location of the home. It was within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. We love to hike, and there were many trails and parks around the area. The house was very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen for cooking. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. One negative ,we wished there was a TV in the living room. All in all we had an awesome stay and will definitely come back.

  The house is a spacious cottage with a vibrant vintage feel. Things I appreciate: mattresses are comfortable, plenty of linen and towels, well stocked kitchen, even salt, pepper, and spices! Things to note: 2nd bedroom upstairs has a cute porthole style window with no coverings which makes the room very bright very early. Murphy bed in tv room was great for accommodating older guests downstairs.

  We have always enjoyed staying at 100 Acre Wood. The location is perfect for a. Quick walk to the market or a venture in town. I highly recommend San Carlos Agency there staff is very attentive and responsive. My only concern this year was the outside of the house it would have been nice if the deck and sky lights had been cleaned before our arrival. Over all we love the house and plan to book it again for next year.
